A ROCK show at Spennymoor Leisure Centre has been cancelled because of poor ticket sales.
The Rockin On Heaven's Door show was due to take to the stage in Spennymoor on Friday.
It was hoped sales would increase after a poor start, but the band's management confirmed the decision to cancel last night.
Ticket refunds will be sent through the post directly to people who bought their tickets at Spennymoor Leisure Centre.
Anyone purchasing their tickets at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre should telephone Sedgefield Borough Council's leisure services department, on (01388) 816166 extensions 4434 or 4415, giving their details.
A show with Mel Taylor as Shania Twain and the greatest hit tribute show Texas, on the same bill at Spennymoor Leisure Centre on Saturday, will definitely be going ahead as scheduled.
