A TOURING exhibition will make its way back to the village where it was created to become a permanent display for the community.
Going to the Centre was first on show at Toft Hill and Etherley Community Centre back in February and March.
It then travelled to Bishop Auckland's Discovery Centre and Witham Hall, in Barnard Castle, where it was well received by visitors.
On Sunday, November 10, the exhibition will make its return to the Toft Hill centre, which has just been redecorated.
The exhibition is part of the Seen and Heard project, which aims to develop the arts in once-thriving coal mining areas in Teesdale.
Older villagers and members of community groups, including the Women's Institute, Church Fellowship and Outreach, have all contributed to the collection.
They each represented their lives in photographs, boxes similar to time-capsules and images for a laminated curtain for the collection.
