A cinema will hold one final premiere before it closes its doors at the end of next month.
The charity screening at the Odeon in Newcastle will feature the latest James Bond adventure, Die Another Day.
The cinema has held premieres for all the 007 movies since the first one, Dr No, in 1962.
Proceeds from the screening on November 19 - the day before Die Another Day opens in cinemas nationwide - will go to the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, the industry's recognised official charity.
The Pilgrim Street cinema will close when Odeon moves to the Gate Leisure complex in Newgate Street in the city centre, on November 28.
The premiere also marks the retirement of Odeon manager Peter Talbot, after more than 40 years in the cinema business.
"A host of local dignitaries and celebrities will be in the audience to ensure the evening provides all the traditional razzmatazz premiere audiences have come to expect of the Pilgrim Street site," he said.
A few £7.50 tickets for the gala premiere are available from the Odeon box office during normal opening hours.
