FROM Tony Blair's autograph to Bet Lynch's earrings, a collection of dozens of pieces of celebrity memorabilia are to be auctioned off next week.
Sheila Thornton, from New Brancepeth, has spent the last nine months building up a collection of 40 photographs, T-shirts and other signed items ready to auction off for Meningitis Research on Friday, November 8.
The auction is to take place at New Brancepeth Club.
Every year Sheila and her husband Joe arrange a fundraising event. This year they will be raising money for Meningitis Research in memory of their baby son Brian, who died after contracting the virus 15 years ago.
Already Joe has raised money by taking part in the Great North Run and this week is to compete in the New York Marathon.
