Division One
In week four, New Marske A climbed into third place after beating Redcar Cons. B 5-1. Mark Rookes won the first and only game for the visitors when beating Keith Corner 53-28. Keith Corner, the longest serving player in the league, then called on his vast wealth of experience to beat Rookes in their second encounter 62-53. With the match tied at one frame each, Richard Sivills made it 3-1 after beating Morris Mitford 56-28 and 71-36.
Gary Forrest completed the rout beating Lee Millar in both games with scores of 61-27 and 76-36.
Redcar Cons. A faired better when chalking up an excellent 4-2 home win against Grinkle Park. The local derby between Guisborough Cons. A and Guisborough TA ended up with the Cons. winning 5-1. The match between Redcar Lakes A and their B team ended up with the A team coming up trumps after they won 5-1. Gary Beckett compiled an excellent 54 break during this match. Andrew Shelley also compiled an outstanding break of 50 during his contest with Steve Sugett of Lune Street. This match ended as a 3-3 tie.
Newly-promoted Redcar Unionist's A kept their title hopes on track when on their travels they beat Marske Workies 4-2. Last year's Champions, Redcar Workies A, also won 4-2 when playing away to Redcar Lakes C. During this match Keith Thompson recorded a 43 break.
Division Two
Redcar Unionist's B team whitewashed Saltburn Cons. B 6-0. McGee beat Marshall 37-17 and 52-20. Barker made it 4-0 when beating Ces Wilson 60-53 and 61-37. Gray completed the rout after he beat Eric Bailey 43-31 and 49-27.
League leaders, Redcar Lakes D, suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 5-1 by Ennis Square's B team.
Val's Priory also chalked up an excellent 5-1 home win against Guisborough Cons. B. During this match John Bracchi compiled a well-executed 40 break. Marske Workies B were the only team in the second division to chalk up an away win after they beat the Lodge 4-2 and in the final match of the week the Redcar Workies B team were held to a 3-3 tie by Carlin How B.
