The Cadets representing Sunderland and district Table Tennis Club of Anthony Barella (Redby CA) Chris Dixon (Silksworth CC) and Philip Dixon (St John TTC) travelled to Northfield Billingham and had a very successful day in the first day of the 2002-3 National Cadet League (Northern Section).
They beat Northfield A B C as well as Northumbria each with the impressive scores of six sets to nil and won 72 out of 73 of the games player and currently now lead the Northern Division.
Division One
Boldon CA A 3, Seaburn Dene 7; Seaburn Dene NC 8, Southern Stewart and Walker 2; West CA A 4, Silksworth CC B 6.
