Thirteen Harriers were part of the 72-strong field which took part in the Pinchinthorpe Plod Fell Race, one of the Championship events for the club.
The testing course was about seven and a half miles long, and the event was won by Marco Cara of Middlesbrough AC in 42.23 minutes and Merv Burn was fifth in 45.59.
Other Harriers: Stuart Mechie 8th in 46.05, David Grainger 17th in 50.46, Cameron Choules 23rd in 52.56, Alan Wikeley 36th in 54.57, Ernie Huck 37th in 55.05, Neil Mechie 40th in 55.52, Maureen Gibbs 56th in 61.44, Steve Harrison 59th in 62.54, Pat Kirby 66th in 67.02, Kay Mechie 67th in 67.30, Karen Hudson 70th in 68.02, Louise Savory 71st in 68.03.
The Men's A team finished in third place and the B Team in sixth. The Ladies Team finished first.
John Yates entered the Bramham 10K, which was actually just less than six miles, and finished in third place in a time of 34.31 minutes.
The Richmond Castle Run, approximately 10K, started and finished at the Castle and was very definitely hilly! The event was won by unattached runner Martin Wilcox in a time of 33.48 minutes. David Read was 63rd in 42.21, Alan Harman 100th in 45.32, Ian Codling 166th in 50.02, Judith Seaton 186th in 52.23, Jo Fambely 226th in 57.15, Pamela Sherlock 239th in 59.38 and Marian Codling 251st in 62.00. There were 264 finishers in this pleasant and well organised race.
