A motorcyclist who was clocked travelling at more than 120mph was yesterday banned from driving for a year.
Ian Llewellyn Charles, 34, of Vickers Close, Marske, East Cleveland, was caught doing 122.5mph on his Honda motorbike on the A67, at Long Newton, near Darlington, on July 1. He admitted the offence, at Darlington Magistrates' Court. He was also fined £250 with £35 costs.

YOUNG VOICE: Philip Potts, 16, of Heaton, Newcastle, is the city's representative at the Government's Urban Summit in Birmingham today, which will discuss inner city regeneration. He is a member of Newcastle Youth Council and the UK Youth Parliament.
FORUM MEETS: County Durham Local Agenda 21 Community Action Forum meets on Thursday from 4pm to 6pm at County Hall, when groups can find out about funding for sustainable communities, green spaces and environmental projects.
CHRISTMAS FAIR: Chester-le-Street Methodist Church is holding a Christmas fair on Saturday, November 30 between 9am and 1pm. There will be a Santa's grotto, free games for children and lunches from 11.30pm.
