STAFF from a Richmond building society spent the day pedalling for charity - and all without leaving the office.
Seven Yorkshire Building Society employees took turns to keep the wheels of an exercise bike turning for eight hours, raising more than £100 for the local branch of Riding for the Disabled.
"We hope the cash can be used to help pay for a riding holiday for local children with special needs next July," said branch manager, Ros Emson, who completed two one-hour stints in the saddle.
She added: "Our customers seemed to enjoy supporting us and the bike certainly attracted a lot of comment."
