ADULTS and children are being invited to join the latest club to be launched in Hambleton.
Owing to the popularity of canoeing courses that have been running at Thirsk swimming pool over the past 18 months, the Hambleton Paddlers has been formed.
Aimed at anyone with an interest in canoeing, the paddlers will promote and encourage participation in the sport by all sections of the community.
The club will have a full programme of events for both adult and child members, including river trips, pool sessions, training and competitions.
Anyone interested in joining the club can attend the first meeting on Thursday, November 14, at Northallerton's cricket club, at 7.30pm.
