Willington WMC extended their unbeaten run to five games with a 5-1 victory over Stanhope Town. The Club had to come from behind after Andy Lee's excellent opener for the dales side.
Darren Britton made it 1-1 at half time and second half goals from Shane Sugden, Richard Breen, Ian Woodhall and Andrew Howard saw Willington home. Stanhope have failed to win in their last five league games.
Roddymoor ended a run of six league games without a win when they visited Tow Law Cattle Mart. Nine men Mart did well to restrict Roddymoor to just 2-1 at half time but in the second half when the Mart had their full complement, Roddymoor went on to win 5-2. Gavin Tennant and John Payne scored for Tow Law and Roddymoor replied through Christopher Dodds, Stephen Winter, Stephen Butterfield, Alan Hawkey and James Ivil.
Crook Wanderers made it three consecutive victories in beating Evenwood White Swan. Goals from Lee Furber (2), Dean Cromby (2), Wayne Lonsdale, Paul Bailes and Stephen Emery gave Wanderers a 7-1 win. Andrew Lamb netted for Evenwood.
After going four league games without a win Crook White Swan returned to winning form against Bishop Rugby Club. Robert Punshion (2) and Matthew Carrick scored the goals which gave Crook White Swan a 3-2 win. David Foggon and John Paul Collinson were on target for the losers.
Howden Australian returned to winning ways with a well deserved victory at Wearhead. Stephen Burke and Craig Robson saw Australian two up before Peter Gilchrist scored a late consolation for Wearhead who are without a win in their last five league outings.
