Jesmond Parish Church put five goals past Monkwearmouth Christians. David Angier (2) Jon Cook, Tim Hawe and Andy Widdrington scored.
Metro Church Sunderland won at Saint Peter's Low Fell. Terry Mallon opened the scoring for the Saints but strikes from Simon Normandale and Anthony Ditchburn gave Metro a 2-1 win.
Bethshan Christian Centre also lost ground after a goal in the 80th minute from David Longhurst rescued a draw as Peter Sutherland had scored early in the match for Ryton Churches.
Stranton Saints Hartlepool climb three places with their performance at Airport Church. Andy Normanton opened the scoring for Stranton before Paul McLaughlin equalised for Airport. Within minutes of the second half Stanton moved into a 3-1 lead with Normanton getting his second and a strike from Chris Barlow. Stranton won the match 5-1 with Paul Gough notching the last two goals.
Whitley Bay Churches were tied 2-2 at half time, goals from Paul Lewis and Paul Worsdale but Consett Churches hit five goals through David Cook, Philip Dodd, Martin Herdman, Michael Hurst and Craig Nichol.
Lanchester Chapel were 2-1 down at half time to Stakeford Methodist Church, Nick Tinkler netting for Lanchester with Eddie Wilde (2) scoring for Stakeford. Andrew Sword netted twice for Lanchester but it wasn't enough as Paul Armstrong, Mark Coxon and Chris Hepple gave Stakeford a 5-3 away win.
Jesmond Parish Athenians opened the scoring for City Church Newcastle. Jason Alexander scored twice and shots from Mark Davison and Keith Chambers gave Athenians a 4-1 lead. Alexander got another double in the second half with Gary Harding scoring City's second as Athenians won 6-2.
Saint Aidens Chapel Castington were level at 1-1 at the break, Chris Orr scored four goals with Tim Boyes Marcus Laing and Dillon Umpleby connecting for Yarm Emmanuel as Saint Aiden's won 5-3. Bethany Christian won 2-1 at Heworth Christian Fellowship. Anthony Dixon scored a penalty for Heworth with Craig Richardson and Ronnie Smith replying. Saint John's Snod's Edge got back to winnings ways with a 6-0 dubbing at Vaitley Bay Baptist Church. John O'Rourke and Ray Wilkenson got a pair each with Chris Atkin and Mark Shaw also on the scoresheet.
Raman K helped himself to a hat-trick in a 3-2 win over Middlesbrough Baptist's Church. John Rhodes and John Schofield scoring for the Baptist's.
Jesmond Parish Corinthians surged into a 4-0 lead with a penalty from James Young and a hat-trick from Scott Martin at Stockton Baptist Tabernacle. Stockton bit back with goals from Richard Creaney, David Clark and a penalty from John lley.
