Felling Mulberry soon found themselves in trouble against unbeaten Pelton Fell when they trailed to an early penalty from Danny Bankhead.
The Fell then went into a 4-1 lead only for Andy Parkin to pull back another goal for the never-say-die Mulberry lads. Goals continued to be scored on a regular basis with Frank Tiffin hitting a hat-trick for the Fell against a Mulberry side that would not give up and clawed their way back to 5-4 down. But the Fell's superiority eventually told and they went on to win 7-4 with two-goal Derek Willis and Lee Hutchinson also on the mark while the Mulberry's other efforts came from a Gary Harkness double and Jay Pringle.
In a bottom of the table clash, Masons Arms SC lost out by the odd goal in three against Low Fell Jolly Miller with the Masons guilty of missing several good chances
