A CARERS group is Spennymoor has been relaunched from new premises.
The Princess Royal Trust Sedgefield Locality Carers Centre moved its Spennymoor branch on Friday.
It is estimated that there are about 10,000 carers in Sedgefield borough, which represents one in seven of the population.
Carers can be relatives, neighbours or friends who provide help and support to a member of their family, a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage otherwise because of disability, frailty or illness.
The group meets every other Friday at the King William Grange, Spennymoor, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
