EVERYTHING was cushty for a Stanley woman who won a Del Boy-style three-wheeler yellow van.
Nicola McCluskey, 26, from south Stanley, won the lovely jubbly motor in a free prize draw to celebrate the opening of a indoor market in Stanley.
She cannot drive, so opted for a £500 cash alternative instead. She said: "I didn't know what to do when I saw what I had won. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I'm over the moon. I'm never lucky so I never imagined I'd win. It's fantastic."
Nicola, who is unemployed, will spend the money on Christmas presents and a shopping spree for clothes.
The Clifford Centre family indoor market was launched by a Del Boy.
The opening day drew in about 6,000 curious shoppers.
Hundreds had their photographs taken with Del Boy and can pick up the snaps free of charge from the market today.
The market, on the site of Stanley's former Presto's store, has more than 50 stalls selling everything from fashion to furniture.
Senior manager Michael Smith said: "We are delighted with the way the opening day went. It really swept me away.
"We had a lot of positive feedback from the people of Stanley who are pleased to have an indoor market in the town.
The Clifford Centre family indoor market is open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
