STUDENTS Anna Kirby and Scott Childs helped Northallerton College score a hat-trick of victories in a gruelling cross-country competition.
They were the first girl and boy home, at the head of more than 40 runners, at the Hambleton and Richmondshire championships.
And the college's boys' team - Scott Childs, Simon Pinkney, Joe Dawson, Adam Clifford and Paul Busby - took the victory honours in team section.
The college's girls' team was not far behind, with Anna Kirby, Sarah Hope, Hannah Goldie and Hannah Corner, taking second place in their team section.
Anna is ranked 13th in the UK in the under-15 girls' 600m and her ambition is to one day run in the Olympic 800 m.
Scott, 15, is ranked 20th in the UK at 800 m and also has hopes to run for his country.
The college's head of PE, Alistair Macrae, said: "Our runners did us proud, especially Ann and Scott, who have worked really hard with their coaches to achieve this success."
