THE winners of a ten-pin bowling competition at the Hollywood Bowl, in Stockton, have won more than £1,000.
The 12-week Triplex competition being held at the bowling alley ended on Friday and six winners have won £1,150 between them.
In first place in the men's competition was Mark Baptist, from Middlesbrough. First in the ladies' competition was Sarah Wilson, from County Durham. Each won £375.
In second place in the men's competition was Ian Gray, of Northallerton, and in the ladies' competition, Teresa Graves, of Norton. Both won £150.
In third place was Ian Franklin, from Billingham and Stephanie Moppet from Middlesbrough. They each won £50.
Stuart Brown, general manger at Hollywood Bowl, said: "This year's Triplex competition has been a phenomenal success with 11,557 bowlers entering."
