YOUNG chocoholics were given the treat of a lifetime at the weekend with a tour round one of the world's biggest chocolate factories.
Ten golden ticket holders were given a tour of the Nestle Rowntree factory in York, to see how chocolate is made.
The children enjoyed the Willy Wonka experience at the factory, on Willington Road, which included a tour of the Smarties production line and an opportunity for winners to meet Willy Wonka.
Their prize brought to life the fictional world of Roald Dahl and his book, Charlie and Chocolate Factory, in which lucky winners of golden tickets were given the chance to explore Willy Wonka's famous factory.
Nestle Rowntree produced Golden Ticket Bars during the summer, and put special tickets in ten of the bars.
Wonka brand manager Andy McQuade said: "We were really excited about recreating the magical Willy Wonka experience in our factory in York for the winners.
"We are sure they will agree that it was a unique and chocolately day out to remember."
