POLICE are hunting two men who attacked a cyclist. The incident happened near the Old Moor Pub, on Oxbridge Lane, Stockton.
Two men approached the cyclist and grabbed at his shoulder bag, containing a £500 computer, pulling him to the ground. The first attacker was white, 5ft 9ins and slim. He was aged about 24, with short dark hair and a thin moustache. He was wearing a green fleece, blue jeans and white trainers. The second man was also about 24, white, and was wearing a black woolly hat and dark clothing. Anyone with any information about the incident, which took place on Friday between 8.30pm and 9pm, is asked to contact HANDBAG FOUND: Police are trying to trace the owner of a handbag recovered on Saturday afternoon. The small black bag was found in the Oxford Road area of Hartlepool. It has cream or tan trim and straps and a small silver badge with Sega on it. The bag contained a purse containing a card with Lottery numbers written on under the names of Skin and Sam. Also recovered was a man's wallet bearing the initials PDC.
