POLICE are appealing for a teenager missing from home for a week to call her family.
Angela Hailes, 16, of Calvert Terrace, Murton, County Durham, was last seen by her mother, also called Angela, at 2pm on Sunday, October 27.
The youngster, who lives with her mother, stepfather, 14-year-old brother and two-year-old sister, has a part-time job but has not been turning up for work.
Sergeant Alison Jackson said: "The reason for Angela's disappearance is a mystery and she has taken all her clothing with her.
"Her family is very concerned for her well-being and wants her to return home.
"We would urge her to contact them so they can be reassured she is safe.''
The youngster is 4ft 10in, slim, with a clear complexion, blue eyes and dark ginger hair cut into a bob.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0191-581 2255.
