A SCAFFOLDER appeared in court yesterday accused of assault, affray and criminal damage.
Trevor Stuart Gill, 20, is accused of causing actual bodily harm to Michael Briggs , assaulting cinema worker Nathan Fielding, damaging a car and two counts of affray.
The charges relate to incidents last Friday in East Parade, Station Parade, Lower Station Parade and at the Odeon Cinema, in Harrogate.
Mr Gill, of St Winifred's Avenue, Harrogate, did not enter any pleas.
His application for bail was rejected by Harrogate magistrates' court chairman Ivan Lester.
Mr Gill was remanded in custody until next Tuesday, when the hearing is expected to be conducted via a video link.
