In Division One Redcar Cons. B team were playing host to the Redcar Lakes A team. Gary Beckett got the Lakes off to a great start after compiling a brilliant 92 break, this the highest recorded so far this season, this aiding to beat Lee Millar in their first encounter by 103-0. Beckett then continued his good form following up with a 42 break in his next frame beating Millar again by 65-41. Brother, Dave Beckett, made it 3-0 when winning his first game against Morris Mitford, however, Mitford beat Beckett in his next frame 63-30.
Mark Rookes then managed to scramble a well-deserved tie for the home team when narrowly beating Steve Quain with scores of 69-50 and 46-40.
New Marske also chalked up an excellent 5-1 away win when beating Guisborough TA. Keith Corner, of New Marske, compiled an excellent 45 break during his match against Brian Cook.
The Redcar Workies kept their unbeaten run intact when beating visitors Redcar Cons. A 5-1. Richard Beckham compiled an extraordinary 40 break during this clash against Ian Whittle of the Cons. Grinkle Park got their season back on track after chalking up an excellent 5-1 home win against Guisborough Cons. A, Saltburn Cons. B recorded a solid 4-2 away win against Redcar Unionist A, the Redcar Lakes B team beat Marske Workies A 4-2 and finally Lune Street B were held to a 3-3 tie by visitors Redcar Lakes C.
In Division Two Carlin How B notched up an excellent 5-1 home win against Lune Street A. The visitors got off to a great start when Alan Vickers won his first game against Eric Wheatman with a score of 63-29. Wheatman fought back to win the second frame 63-20, levelling the match at 1-1. Andrew Wiseman then won both of his games against Stuart Tait with scores of 60-7 and 51-27. Mark Agar sealed Carlin's win when winning against Rob Nesbitt 68-23 and 54-29.
Guisborough Quoit kept their title hopes right on track after dishing out a 5-1 home win against Redcar WMC B.
The Redcar Lakes D team suffered their second defeat of the season when they were beaten 4-2 by visitors Val's Priory. Ennis Square B recorded an excellent 5-1 away result much to the disappointment of Marske Workies A. The final two matches between Guisborough Cons. B versus the Redcar Literary Institute and Saltburn Cons B versus the Lodge both ended 3-3.
