ST Teresa's Hospice in Darlington has received a donation of £120 from children at Cockerton CE Primary School.
The funds were raised during the school's harvest festival celebrations, where a collection was held in aid of the hospice.
David Jones, community fundraising manager for the hospice, said: "It is excellent news that the school is supporting St Teresa's Hospice in this way, and we hope that other organisations in the area will take up its shining example.
"Every penny will be used to support the invaluable work the hospice does in the local community."
