A SCOUT troop is appealing to former members to get in touch to help celebrate a landmark birthday.
The 9th Darlington Scout group is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year with a series of events, including a church service and an open night. The group also wants to create a "Where are they now?" board, featuring photographs and stories about past members.
Acting group Scout leader Enid Peart said: "We would really like to know what people are doing now, where they live, what they work as. Ideally, if we get enough people, it would be nice to set up an evening with them."
Ex-members are invited to attend a service at Harrowgate Hill Methodist Church on November 17 or an open night there on November 29. For details call Mrs Peart on (01325) 383806 or Kay Lambert on (01325) 264561.
