Shildon will give new defender Leigh Grant his debut when they take on Marske United at Dean Street this afternoon.
Grant has been unable to hold down a regular place at Spennymoor in recent weeks, and Shildon boss Ray Gowan has snapped him up.
Gowan said: "Leigh comes highly recommended to me. He comes at just the right time because of the players we have missing."
Lee Hainsworth and David Bayles are both suspended, while striker Nigel Bolton is still out because of injury.
Marske, who beat Billingham Synthonia in midweek, are without striker Lee Alexander because of suspension, while midfielder Neil Hodgson has flu. Simon Millington and Danny Metcalfe will both have fitness tests.
Prudhoe will give at least four new players their home debuts against Jarrow Roofing. Marcelle Lundy (Seaham), Andy Bowes (Peterlee), Iain Davison (Esh Winning) and Phil Thompson (Carlisle) have all been signed as they try to climb away from the relegation zone. Roofing include recent signing Bruce Foster from Harton and Westoe.
Bottom club Washington are still without three players because of suspension at Chester-le-Street, who could be without promising striker Daniel Graham.
Esh Winning are at full strength at home to Newcastle Blue Star, who have appointed Steve Higgins as their caretaker manager following the resignation of Stuart Leeming last weekend.
In the second division, joint leaders Washington Nissan will be trying to bounce back at home to bottom club Alnwick and they will give fitness tests to Paul Robertson and Steve Hutchinson, while full back Kevin Bruce has a bruised foot.
Evenwood have doubts over Stephen Houlahan and Andrew Richardson at home to Whickham.
Crook Town are still searching for a new boss after the weekend resignations of Dave Buchanan and Ronan Liddane, so senior players Andy Burgess, Les Langley and David Taylor are in charge away to Norton.
Willington have a new manager in Richard Huntley after the sacking of David Styles, and he is hoping several players can return away to South Shields.
Styles parted company with the club after they lost 5-1 at home to Alnwick last Saturday, a result which left them just four points above the relegation zone.
