AN Aladdin's Cave of stolen goods will be on show to the public on Teesside this weekend.
Mountain bikes, gardening equipment, electrical goods and children's toys are waiting to be claimed at Cleveland Police's traffic headquarters at Cannon Park.
All the property was recovered during Operation Trident, which hit drug rings and supply routes, led to 90 arrests and solved 500 crimes.
Police hope to trace some of the rightful owners of tens of thousands of pounds of stolen property and hope the exercise may lead to more charges and arrests.
The Cleveland force said the operation has left thieves, burglars and drug-dealers in the Langbaurgh area reeling.
The district commander, Chief Superintendent John Kelly, said: "Operation Trident has been a tremendous success. There has been a significant reduction in the number of burglaries in our area because this intelligence-driven operation has hit at the heart of criminal activity.
"We have targeted those responsible for the crimes which affect all our communities and we have a message for the criminals in our area: 'Our campaign against you will continue and there will be no let-up'."
Chief Supt Kelly added: "We want to give the people of Langbaurgh a better quality of life and this operation goes a long way towards that."
The goods can be viewed from 10am to noon on Saturday and Sunday..
