A YOUTH group from Bearpark is looking for a new challenge after being awarded a £500 grant from the North-Eastern and Cumbrian Co-op.
Since setting up 18 months ago, the group of 13-17-year-olds has tackled various projects including environmental schemes.
Members have even designed their own youth shelter, which stands in Bearpark village.
Now thanks to the award from the Co-op's community dividend scheme, the youngsters will be able to embark on a new range of activities.
Members of the 11-strong group organise all their own activities and will now be trying scuba diving and rock climbing leading to qualifications.
