The best result in Division One was recorded by Redcar WMC A, who, on their travels, whitewashed Guisborough Cons. A 6-0.
Arthur Smith, in his first game, contained Scott Hardy Burns, that was until Scott compiled a 40 break to win the game 57-32. Scott followed this up by winning his second frame 69-17. Next for the Cons., was Mike King who was left reeling by Richard Beckham who compiled a 59 break aiding him to win their first encounter 71-28. Beckham continued his form when knocking in a 51 break to clinch the second frame 61-28. Jason Robinson made sure of the whitewash when beating Wakefield 68-55 and 57-48.
Redcar Lakes A continued their good run of form when they recorded a 4-2 home win against Guisborough TA. During this match Gary Beckett continued his form with a 57 break. Marske Workies A recorded a 5-1 home win against the Redcar Cons B team as did Saltburn Cons. A against Redcar Lakes B.
Former leaders New Marske A were held to a 3-3 draw by visitors Grinkle Park as were the Redcar Lakes C team by Carlin How A.
In Division Two Ennis Square B won 5-1 at home against Saltburn Cons. B. The result of the week, was a 5-1 win for Guisborough Quoit at Lune Street A.
Val's Priory chalked up a respectable 4-2 home win against Marske WMC B and The Lodge got their season underway with a first league win when beating the Redcar Unionist's B 4-2. The Redcar Literary Institute won at home with a 4-2 victory against Redcar Lakes D. Ennis Square's A team won on their travels beating Redcar WMC B 5-1.
