Durham County Under-16 Girls play against Northumberland Under-16 Girls tomorrow in the first of two scheduled games and will be held at the Durham Girls' home ground, Houghall College, Durham.
The second match will be at Northumberland's ground at Bullocksteads, Newcastle on Saturday, December 14. County matches are full 15 a side with contested scrums and line outs.
Anita Blackburn, who is secretary for both Durham County and Darlington Mowden Park Under-16 Girls' teams said: "The selection for both the Durham and Northumberland teams has been rigorous.
"The girls have trained hard and the match promises to be highly competitive and exciting. I am particularly pleased that a large number of Mowden Park players have been selected for Saturday's squad of 22 and expect them to perform well."
The following Mowden Park players will play tomorrow: Abby Blackburn, Rachel Bradley, Jenna Breakingbury, Ally Cull, Helen Grainge, Amber Hyde, Nicola Jackson, Rosie Mangle, Hannah Ramsey, Natalie Walton.
Rachel, Rosie and Hannah are pupils at Carmel Technology College whilst the other County players are pupils are at Hummers Knott Language College.
Kick off on both occasions will be 1pm and spectators are very welcome.
