Stockton Junior Select Championships
A strong contingent of local players led by Drinkhall brothers, Bryn and Paul from Loftus, will be involved in this weekend's prestigious tournament at Thornaby Pavilion.
Other high ranked players hoping for good fortune are David Meads from Gainford, Daniel Reed from Hutton Rudby, Claire Wilson from Newton Aycliffe and Stephanie Donnelly from Marske.
The Under-18 favourites are Kou Lei and Shuan Zhao, two Chinese juniors, currently residing in Shropshire.
