The visitors took the first half to lead 3-1 through goals from Dave Brassell, Peter Strevens and Tony Stafford, Geoff Kell netted for Travellers. In the second Travellers fought back to share the points with goals from Craig Starling and Max Ripley.
Darlington AFC Greyhound were a club hit as they could only field ten - after having double that number last week - when they took on Darlington Skerne Park (Savers). The nine put up a dour fight before going down 2-1 to goals from Paul Hanafin and Alan Bearpark.
