CHILDREN at a Darlington school were thrilled to meet a book illustrator who passed on some tips about drawing.
Korky Paul is an artist who has worked on several books, including Winnie the Witch.
Mr Paul visited some of his biggest fans at Corporation Infants School.
The children went to see a play based on Winnie the Witch at Darlington's Civic Theatre recently and visited the town's library as part of National Book Week.
Headteacher, Carol Musztacs, said: "Korky is visiting Darlington as part of a project to help children find pleasure in books and to enjoy reading.
"The children were really excited about meeting someone famous and the fact that they've been reading his books."
