RESIDENTS can have their say on a council's intention to run a pilot postal voting scheme at the next district and parish council elections.
Chester-le-Street district councillors will be at a stand at the town's market today, between 9am and 2pm, asking people for their views on postal voting and other matters in the district.
The council intends to apply for permission to operate its first postal voting scheme at the elections in May.
Residents interested in postal voting will be able to add their names to a register at the stand.
