A BEER with no name has been launched in aid of a life-saving ambulance service.
The brew will be available on draught at pubs across the region and officials from the Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA) hope it will boost their fundraising efforts.
Yesterday, the charity beer went on sale at the Tithe Bar and Brasserie in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. A percentage of the sales from the beer will be given to GNAA.
Brewed exclusively for the ambulance service by Nick Stafford of Hambleton Ales, officials are still scratching their heads over a name. They have invited people to send in their suggestions once they have tasted the beer.
Entries should be sent to Name Our Beer, Great North Air Ambulance, The Imperial Centre, Grange Road, Darlington, DL1 5NQ by Friday, November 29.
