Low Fell still lead the Under-11 division despite losing for the first time this season when they were defeated 2-0 by Redheugh.
Heworth are second, three points behind the leaders and they enhanced their chances of taking over at the top with a 4-0 victory at home to Felling. Jake Kirtley bagged a brace of goals.
Winlaton were the biggest scores in the division when they put seven goals past Consett who managed three in reply and in the other games to be played Blackfyne saw off the challenge from Beamish by a 4-0 margin. Connor Cruddas bagged a brace of goals.
Leam Rangers Y are only three points adrift of Whickham Fellside B in the Under-12 section. The leaders were without a fixture and Leam Rangers Y inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Redheugh to move within three points of Whickam. Scott Anderson was twice on target for Leam Rangers.
Low Fell are third following their 3-1 win at Consett where Alex Tait twice found the net,
Teams in the Under-13 division were engaged in the league cup and Leam Rangers hammered Low Fell C 9-1. David Armstrong and Lee Curry both struck hat tricks. Redheugh travelled to Consett and won 3-0 and Blackfyne ended 3-1 winners over Winlaton thanks to a couple of goals by Chris Muncaster.
In the Under-14 division, Beamish and Blackfyne both scored n nine times. Craig Paley (4), and Martin Gladdon (2) were the principal scorers as Beamish finished 9-5 in front of Felling for whom Stephen Mulholland bagged a brace of goals.
Dan Nichol and Lee Calvert both scored three times in Blackfyne's runaway 9-1 success at Burnside while Consett were also among the goals as they put six in the Cooper Hall net. Terry Lee hit a hat trick in Consett's 6-2 victory. In other games, Redheugh defeated Leam Rangers 3-1 and an only goal was sufficient to earn Whickham Glebe the points at the expense of Cleveland Hall.
At Under-15 level, two game went ahead and they were victories from Consett and Felling. Consett were 4-2 victors over Stocksfield while Felling just edged Ryton 4-3 despite James Carr scoring a hat-trick for Ryton.
