TEACHERS from Hungary are having a taste of school life in County Durham this week.
Six schools are looking after English teachers from the county's twin area of Jasz-Nagykun-Szolnok.
The group is taking part in lessons, seeing how schools are organised and is spending a day at the designated language college, Park View Community School, in Chester-le-Street.
The other schools taking part are Woodham Burn Junior School, in Newton Aycliffe, Greencroft School, in Annfield Plain, Deerness Valley Comprehensive, Ushaw Moor, Sedgefield Community College and Blackfyne Community School, in Blackhill, Consett.
The visit, organised by Durham County Council's international office, aims to establish better links between schools in Hungary and Durham.
