A former British Airways worker was found guilty of drug dealing yesterday.
David Newnham, 56, was caught with heroin, morphine, Ecstasy, amphetamines, cannabis resin, tem-azepam and diazepam when police raided his home.
He claimed that it was for his personal use, and that he bought it in bulk with his company pension, invalidity benefit and money he made from car boot sales.
But the police said that he was a supplier and that three women who arrived during their 90-minute search were drug addict customers.
Newnham, of Salisbury Crescent, Darlington, was found guilty at Teesside Crown Court of seven charges of possessing Class A, B and C drugs with intent to supply.
He was remanded on bail for a report before sentence.
