A NORTH-EAST teenager has been named the winner of Channel 4's Model Behaviour contest.

Camilla Priest, 19, from Sunderland, was named in last night's show as the winner of the televised contest, along with South African-born Nathan Roberts.

The pair triumphed over 11,000 hopefuls to win a year's modelling contract with top agency Select and cover shoots with two glossy magazines.

Viewers have been glued to the nationwide search for a supermodel, which saw eight finalists sharing a London flat as they tried to make it in the fashion industry.

They were whittled down to four, with Camilla and Nathan up against Verity Williams, 18, from Surrey, and 19-year-old Rochdale boy Matthew Holbrook.

In the final episode, the four flew to New York to take part in a fashion shoot before the judges picked the winners.

Nathan will now grace the cover of GQ and Camilla will be on the front of Glamour magazine.

An overjoyed Camilla said: ''I've dreamt of being a model since I was a little girl. I've worked so hard for this and I can't wait to see my face on the cover.'

GQ editor and judge Dylan Jones declared Nathan ''the best-looking man in Britain''.
