STYLISH outfits from some of the world's most famous fashion designers are gracing the catwalk of a fashion show this week.

All the clothes modelled by Bishop Auckland College students in the Belvedere Club, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, on Thursday night have been given by hospice supporters to its charity shop.

Some would have originally cost hundreds of pounds each and include designs from Armani, Christian Dior, Morgan and Calvin Klein. They are all for sale.

Models are having their hair and make up done by the college's Hair and Beauty students for a course work project.

Charity shop manager Liz Franklin said: "We have a wonderful selection of clothes, including designer names, and this is perfect opportunity to show them off at their best."

The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £1.50 from the charity shop in Newgate Street, The Belvedere Club or the hospice, which is in Woodhouse Lane. For information telephone (01388) 603003.
