WEDDING guests have helped charity - by betting on the best man's speech.
Relatives and friends of newlyweds Ian Mitchell and Charlotte Rigg organised a sweepstake on how long the best man's speech would last at their wedding last week, at Lea Close Farm, Sadberge, near Darlington.
Best man Andrew Cracknell, of Castle Eden, County Durham, talked for 27 minutes, raising £275 for Children in Need.
