A DIVISION of the Cleveland Potash mine has won two contracts in Western Australia.
It is the first time that Cleveland Cascades, the bulk-loading chute manufacturer based at Tees Dock, Middlesbrough, has sold to that region of Australia.
Broad Construction, which is building a fertiliser storage facility near Fremantle, Perth, has ordered two seven-metre long silo loading chutes to handle up to 1,900 tonnes of potash sulphate per hour.
At Bunbury, on the south-west coast of Australia, the local port authority has ordered a 17-metre long ship loading chute which will handle 2,200 tonnes per hour of a wide range of products, including grain, coal and synthetic rutile.
The non-spill chute features the latest cone which eliminates build up of a product on the rim - cutting back on cleaning time.
