GRADUATES shared secrets of their business success at a university's first entrepreneurship fair.
The event, at Trevelyan College, Durham, yesterday, involved Durham University graduates who have set up their own successful businesses, inspiring others.
Among the speakers were Steven Bell, Raoul Morley and Joanne McDonald, who talked about their thriving companies providing online Internet training, manufacturing mountain bikes, and producing teddy bears.
Rachel Orange, one of the event's organisers, said: "This was the first time the University of Durham held a career event dedicated to business start-up.
"An increasing number of students are choosing to be their own boss after graduation, and we aim to support as many of these entrepreneurs as possible."
The event included exhibitions of start-ups and funding support, and three seminars offering participants the chance to put questions to experts and graduates
