TWO of the main tourist attractions in Richmond have benefited from visitors taking part in guided walks around the town.
Over the past year, the Richmond Volunteer Guides received more than £530 from visitors and the money is to go towards the running costs of the Richmondshire Museum and the Georgian Theatre Royal Museum.
The guided walks of Richmond run between Easter and the end of September on Sundays, Wednesdays and Bank Holidays.
They start at Richmond Tourist Information Centre, take about an hour to complete and are conducted by volunteers
