A CHARITY calendar featuring amateur artists' impressions of Darlington has gone on sale.
The 2003 calendar was produced by the Art Shop, in Bondgate, after it invited customers to enter a competition to paint their favourite part of the town.
It includes paintings of the town centre, Hurworth, St Cuthbert's Church, South Park and St Teresa's Hospice.
Two of the pictures were painted by children - Polam Hall School by pupil Rachel Alban, 12, and the Market Square by Longfield School pupil Louise Callender, 13.
Winners received £50. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go to: St Teresa's Hospice, Oxfam, Darlington Talking Newspaper, Cancer Research, The Heart Foundation, Anthony Nolan Trust, Durham Wildlife and the Children's Heart Foundation.
The calendar, which costs £7.99, is available from the Art Shop, on (01325) 465484.
