The Academy at Harrogate have moved to the top of the Northern Division following two 4-0 successes recently.
The first was over Cowly, York and the second against mid-table Yarm.
They have 14 points, two more than Tennis World, Middlesbrough who defeated Puma Sunderland away by 3-1 last Saturday to remain unbeaten. The Wearside Club stand fourth with nine points, the same as David Lloyd, Teesside, but the Thornaby Club has played two fewer matches.
They do have one today against Invicta, Sunderland who had a surprising easy win over their neighbours Puma.
For Academy, Doug Keen has maintained his unbeaten record this season - and with duff event partners! Rob Taylor playe din one and newcomer Harry Worthington in the other. Dave Brown, Jonathan Smail and Richard Whitely played once each in the two wins.
