ACTOR TIM Healy spoke of his relief yesterday after welcoming home his baby son following a life-saving operation.
Louis, the son of Tim and actress Denise Welch, was rushed to Alder Hey Hospital, in Liverpool, two weeks ago and underwent emergency surgery to remove part of his bowel.
The Auf Wiedersehen Pet star could not hide his delight at the news, as he opened a branch of the Newcastle Building Society.
Geordie Tim, 50, said: "He's going to be fine. It's wonderful to have him home."
The actor was full of praise for the hospital staff who saved his 20-month-old son.
He said: "Doctors have told us that he was just very unlucky."
It was Louis's second life-saving operation as he was born suffering from a rare bowel disease.
Tim also revealed that a new series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet is on the horizon.
