YOUNGSTERS at an Ingleby Barwick primary school have been jumping for joy after being awarded an Activemark from Sport England.
The award is given to schools which promote the benefits of physical activity and sport throughout the school day and beyond normal school hours.
To gain the award, staff at St Therese of Lisieux Primary School worked with the youngsters in a range of sports including football, netball, cricket, athletics and dancing.
Simon Geaves, Lisieux's physical education co-ordinator, said: "We are delighted the school's commitment to a healthy active lifestyle has been acknowledged. The children thoroughly enjoy all the physical activities."
