DRINK-DRIVING: Stephen Dickens, 21, of Regents Court, Darlington, appeared before the town's magistrates yesterday and admitted drink-driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and having no insurance.
The case was adjourned for reports to be prepared before he is sentenced on December 17.
ASSAULT DENIED: Gary Keith Turner, 29, of Holmwood Grove, Darlington, and Stephanie May Henry, 29, of Easby Place, Darlington, denied assault when they appeared at Darlington Magistrates' Court yesterday. The case was adjourned until January 14.
CASE ADJOURNED: Louis Welch, 32, of Geneva Road, Darlington, appeared before the town's magistrates yesterday and denied a charge of using threatening behaviour. He will appear at court again on January 14.
ATTACK ADMITTED: Ian Andrew Rushton, 23, of Middleton Court, Darlington, was given a conditional discharge by the town's magistrates yesterday, after he pleaded guilty to assaulting an ex-girlfriend.
ASSAULT DENIED: Michael Rudd, 44, of Ruby Street, Darlington, denied assaulting his wife, two police officers, restricting police officers, and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, when he appeared at Darlington Magistrates' Court yesterday. The case was adjourned to January 14.
