A railway museum's star exhibition is open to the public once again after a major refurbishment.
The North Road Locomotive Works exhibition, at Darlington Railway Centre and Museum, has been re-launched with a bigger and brighter format.
The display outlines the history of the works and the scrapyard, detailing the first and last steam, diesel and electric locomotives to be built there.
Significant events in the works' history are also revealed to visitors on information panels. More details of the exhibition are available from the railway centre and museum on (01325) 460532.
