A SENIOR education official visited a lifelong learning project yesterday.
The County Durham Lifelong Learning Partnership was visited by Ian Goodwin, from the Government's Department of Education and Skills.
The project was set up more than three years ago to bring together providers of learning, education, skills and work and Mr Goodwin was seeing whether the project's ideas could be used elsewhere in the country.
Jeanette Trafford, lifelong learning partnership manager, said: "Mr Goodwin is identifying areas of good practice that can be used in other parts of the country and, during his visit, he spoke to staff at Learning Links and some of the other projects."
